Our seafront apartment is situated in a low rise building, Edificio Carla, built in 2004. The apartment is on the ground floor, though well above street level. The master bedroom, living room and balcony look directly on to the beach of Cotobro – literally 20 metres across a small road.
The area of Cotobro is about 15 minutes walk to the west of Almuñécar and the beach is one of the favourites of the Costa Tropical for those who are seeking peace and tranquility, except, of course, in July and August. Recently much has been done to enlarge and improve the beach area. Sunbeds and umbrellas can be rented by the day from the small hotel at one end of the beach. The sunny, 90 sq m apartment consists of two bedrooms, living and dining area, kitchen, bathroom, hall and balcony. It has its own parking space beneath the building which is a huge advantage in the summer months when parking spaces are at a premium.
