HOW TO GET THERE – Málaga airport is just over an hour away. The apartment is ten minutes from La Herradura motorway exit.
CAR OR NO CAR? A car is not essential but, of course, it will allow you much more flexibility. However, if you just want to chill out, the apartment can be reached by taxi (though allow around 100 euros from either Granada or Málaga) or by bus (www.alsa.es). A short taxi ride will take you from the bus station in Almuñécar to Cotobro. There is also a local bus that stops very near the apartment that goes to the town centre. The nearest shops are twenty minutes walk.
